Josh Ring in Concert

Composer, music educator, and multi-instrumentalist, Josh Ring is currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa. Studying organ with Gregory Hand, Josh is a recipient of a Rahn and Frawley Organ Fellowship from the UI School of Music. He is the winner of the 2019 Organ Scholar Competition at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Evanston, IL and won first place in the 2018 Fox Valley Young Organists Scholarship Competition, a national competition through the American Guild of Organists. He has performed in the Netherlands, Brazil, and across the US, has been featured on the radio program Pipedreams, and has performed in masterclasses with such international artists as Olivier Latry, Nathan Laube, Craig Cramer, Stefan Engels, and Wilma Jensen. Serving as the organist at the Coralville United Methodist Church, he is also an active performer, accompanist, and educator in the Iowa City area.
