*Luminaries are those who illuminate, improve, and inspire our community. The subjects of the paintings are derived from the historic neighborhood bordered by Whitman St., the Rock River, State St., and Rockton Ave. The area is assisted by Jeremiah Development, a non-profit organization advocating for the well-being of the neighborhood. Event proceeds will be utilized for the 2015 Summer Work Camp, coordinated by Rockford Urban Ministries. Volunteers from all over the United States will come to Rockford to revitalize several homes in the neighborhood by painting exteriors, cleaning-up yards, and doing a wide variety of helpful repairs. Your support is truly appreciated!
